 See Cinnamon After Surgery

Many thanks to Doctor Kunkel and the staff at the Surgical Center. Cinnamon's left leg is completely straight! After undergoing surgery for pancarpal arthrodesis, Cinnamon is rehabilitating nicely. She now enjoys the walking trail and is daily gaining confidence in the use of her "new" leg.

GO Cinnamon GO!

THANK YOU

to all who donated
toward this expensive operation!

Mr. Hobo goes to Charleston

hobo

While his expression promises dire consequences if he doesn't get his seaside vacation, Hobo's trip to the fair city of Charleston was for other reasons - to see a dermatologist. Our beautiful Persian has been suffering from a persistent skin problem, loss of weight and general lethargy, leaving a number of our local veterinarians puzzled.  We hope to receive a diagnosis shortly and have Mr. Hobo on the road to recovery.

To assist with Hobo's ongoing medical expenses, please visit our website and click on the Donations tab.

Mollie Has a New Forever Home

mollie

Mollie is a beautiful German Shepherd pup who was rescued by Howlmore in the midst of a cruelty case. She had to have her rear leg amputated due to gunshot wounds and numerous procedures to remove other bullets from her front leg. Not one to let life's tragedies keep her down, Mollie underwent a very successful rehabilitation at Howlmore. In true storybook style, she was recently adopted into her Forever Home where she is now thriving in a caring environment...

...and she lived happily ever after.

Thank you Meredith,   Mollie's new "mom".

Welcome Home Henri

After many weeks of extensive Heartworm treatment Henrietta, our Terrier/Pit Bull mix, returns home to Howlmore. Despite being seriously ill, Henri exhibited her characteristic toughness by refusing to give up.  Doctor Atkinson at Shandon-Wood Clinic and the staff that cared for her there have given her a new lease of life.

We are DELIGHTED to have her back!

Thankful Always, Rhonda & Mike

...Tons happier, and a few pounds heavier too. We stopped feeding him so much and he has lost some weight.

He has brought so much entertainment and laughter into our home. You were right Linda, he is quite the character! He talks so much!! Mike is going crazy now that he has two chatterboxes in the house. So me and Clover mainly just talked amongst ourselves. And now Mike tunes us both out.

The fact that Clover is missing one leg means nothing to him. He loves to jump and play and pounce just like a four legged cat. I have seen him literally fly up the stairs. He's like "Supercat". He has his favorite toys like his little mice that sometimes freak me out when I see them laying on the floor. He doesn't like catnip but lemme tell ya, he doesn't need it!

He spends his days playing in front of the big window and his nights curled up in bed next to us and we love him!

Thanks so much for taking care of him before he came to us!

Thankful always, Rhonda and Mike
